What is stored

For signed-in users, Westminster Radar stores the authenticated ChatGPT user ID with followed MPs, organisations and topics; generated alerts; notification frequency and pause settings; and topic-classification reports. It does not store your postcode or contact-draft wording.

Product analytics

Product analytics is currently disabled while a consent platform is prepared. When enabled after an analytics choice, a random first-party browser identifier will record only event type, page path and time for page views, MP-profile engagement, evidence opens, completed postcode lookups and follows. Postcodes, search phrases, correction details and message text are never placed in analytics. The identifier expires after 180 days and can be deleted below.

Advertising

Westminster Radar does not currently display advertisements. A future public version may use Google AdSense, subject to site approval and a certified consent platform. Before that happens, this notice will explain Google's role as a third-party vendor, its cookies and identifiers, personalised and non-personalised ads, and how to change your choice. Retention and notification processing

Preferences and alert history remain until you delete them. Analytics, if activated after consent, is intended for aggregate service improvement and is retained for no more than 180 days. Notifications are prepared from public activity records against your follows; Westminster Radar does not send contact drafts.
